Strength Innovation Printing Press

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Strength Innovation Printing Press ("SIPP," "we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order, using our website (www.SIPP.af), or engaging our services, you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not place an order or use our services.

2. Services

SIPP provides commercial printing services including but not limited to:

  • Digital and offset printing
  • Design and pre-press services
  • Binding and finishing services
  • Large format printing
  • Custom printing solutions

Service specifications, capabilities, and availability may vary. Please contact us for detailed information about specific services.

3. Orders and Quotations

3.1 Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are subject to change based on material costs, specifications, or other factors beyond our control.

3.2 Order Placement

Orders must be placed in writing via email, our website, or in person at our premises. An order is confirmed only when we provide written acceptance.

3.3 Order Specifications

Clients are responsible for providing accurate specifications including:

  • Quantity
  • Size and dimensions
  • Paper type and weight
  • Color specifications
  • Finishing requirements
  • Delivery requirements

3.4 Artwork and Files

Clients must provide print-ready files in acceptable formats (PDF, AI, PSD, or as specified). We are not responsible for errors in client-supplied files. Additional charges may apply for file preparation or correction services.

4. Proofs and Approvals

4.1 Proof Approval

We will provide digital or physical proofs for approval before production begins. Production will not commence until written approval is received from the Client.

4.2 Client Responsibility

Once a proof is approved, the Client assumes responsibility for any errors, including typographical errors, design flaws, or specification issues. Changes requested after approval may incur additional charges and delay delivery.

4.3 Color Matching

While we strive for color accuracy, slight variations between proofs and final printed products may occur due to printing processes, paper types, and other factors. We cannot guarantee exact color matching, particularly for digitally displayed colors.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Pricing

Prices are quoted in Afghan Afghani (AFN) or US Dollars (USD) as agreed. All prices exclude applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

5.2 Payment Terms

  • Small Orders: Full payment required before production begins
  • Large Orders: 50% deposit required upon order confirmation, with the balance due before delivery
  • Corporate Accounts: Payment terms may be negotiated on a case-by-case basis

5.3 Payment Methods

We accept cash, bank transfer, and other payment methods as agreed. Payment processing fees, if applicable, are the responsibility of the Client.

5.4 Late Payment

Overdue accounts may be subject to interest charges of 2% per month. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with outstanding balances.

6. Delivery

6.1 Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delivery schedules depend on order complexity, material availability, and workload.

6.2 Delivery Methods

  • Collection: Orders may be collected from our premises during business hours
  • Delivery: Local delivery services are available in Kabul and surrounding areas for an additional fee
  • Courier: International or distant deliveries will be arranged through third-party courier services at the Client's expense

6.3 Risk and Title

Risk of loss or damage passes to the Client upon delivery or collection. Title to goods remains with SIPP until full payment is received.

6.4 Delivery Delays

We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to material shortages, equipment failure, power outages, transportation issues, or force majeure events.

7. Quality and Inspection

7.1 Inspection

Clients should inspect all delivered goods immediately upon receipt. Claims for defects, shortages, or damage must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

7.2 Manufacturing Tolerance

Industry-standard tolerances apply:

  • Quantity: ±10% variation in quantity for orders over 500 units; ±5% for orders under 500 units
  • Color: Slight variations are acceptable
  • Cutting and Trimming: ±2mm tolerance
  • Registration: ±1mm tolerance

7.3 Quality Standards

We maintain high-quality standards but cannot guarantee perfection. Minor imperfections that do not substantially affect the usability or appearance of the printed materials are not considered defects.

8. Cancellations and Changes

8.1 Cancellation by Client

  • Orders may be cancelled before production begins with a cancellation fee of 25% of the order value
  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced. Full payment is required for work completed

8.2 Changes to Orders

Changes requested after order confirmation may be accommodated subject to additional charges and delivery delays. We reserve the right to decline change requests if production has commenced.

8.3 Cancellation by SIPP

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, in which case any payments made will be refunded.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Client Ownership

Clients retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in materials provided to us, including designs, logos, and content.

9.2 License to Print

By placing an order, Clients grant SIPP a non-exclusive license to reproduce, print, and process the supplied materials solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order.

9.3 Third-Party Rights

Clients warrant that they have the right to reproduce all materials provided and that such reproduction does not infringe upon any third-party rights. Clients indemnify SIPP against any claims arising from copyright or trademark infringement.

9.4 Portfolio Use

We may photograph and display completed work in our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless the Client requests confidentiality in writing.

10. Liability and Warranties

10.1 Warranty

We warrant that services will be performed with reasonable care and skill. Defective products will be reprinted or refunded at our discretion.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific order in question. We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, consequential, or special damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Errors in client-supplied materials
  • Delays beyond our reasonable control
  • Third-party intellectual property claims

10.3 Client Obligations

Clients are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions, licenses, and approvals for materials to be printed. We assume no liability for content legality or compliance.

11. Confidentiality

We respect the confidential nature of Client materials and will not disclose Client information to third parties except as necessary to fulfill orders or as required by law.

12. Storage and File Retention

12.1 File Storage

Digital files and job specifications may be retained for up to 12 months after order completion to facilitate reorders. After this period, files may be deleted without notice.

12.2 Physical Materials

Physical proofs, surplus materials, and printing plates will be disposed of 90 days after order completion unless other arrangements are made.

13. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay in performing our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government actions, labor disputes, material shortages, or equipment failure.

14. Disputes and Governing Law

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

14.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through the appropriate courts in Kabul, Afghanistan.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between SIPP and the Client regarding our services and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.

15.2 Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

15.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15.4 Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.

15.5 Assignment

Clients may not assign or transfer their rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.
